We finally made it to Saturday! I’m so ready for summer, guys. It’s not even funny how done I am with school right now! Yikes. I wish I could be done already like Audrey and the rest of you guys who are finished! The last day of school is June 13th and we graduate June 15th. Almost there. Hallelujah!
My Friday was pretty low key… but aren’t they all? I swear I’m so boring haha! Someone come over and let’s get froyo!
Breakfast Friday morning:
Raspberry 0% Chobani topped with Kashi Go Lean Crunch cereal! This is easily one of my favorite breakfasts. It’s SO GOOD!
I totally made up the recipe for my lunch yesterday!
The mom of the kids I nanny for left a bean mixture for her daughter one day. It smelled SO GOOD so of course I texted her and asked what was in it. Black beans, red beans, white beans, and pinto beans, drained and rinsed, then mixed together. She was even nice enough to give me some I incorporated it into lunch today along with 1/2 a red bell pepper chopped up, nuked, and topped with a sprinkle of Mexican blend cheese. SOOOOOOO DELICIOUS. And healthy!
My workout today was kind of hit and miss.
I was able to incline walk for about 35 minutes before getting off to try the elliptical. My knee didn’t bother me at all that day so I figured that it was basically healed. Um, nope. 20 seconds MAX and my knee hurt SO BAD. So I hopped off, and then it hurt to just walk again. Bahhh I need to stop pushing myself too far. I’m tired of being injured! I finished my workout with 50 minutes of back/arms lifting and did 8 minute abs before bed.
I had a chicken caesar salad for dinner and then snacked a ton. Obvi I needed to eat more at dinner.
I definitely needed to get out of the house before I ate everything in my house, so my mom and I went shopping for my graduation dress! I would wear it underneath my gown for graduation.
#1: The casual but cute! I was in LOVE with this dress. It had an adorable low keyhole back but I ultimately put it back since I needed a dress that is more formal. It was so cute though! Can I have it anyway?
#2: The flowy and formal. This is the dress I chose for my graduation dress! It was just formal enough to seem dressed up, but not overdressed. I love it!
#3: The casual yet formal. Since I got my scholarship for future educators, they are putting on a luncheon for us recipients. I needed a dress to wear to that! Enter: this adorable dress! Christian didn’t like it. Oh well.
#4: The red and bold. My school’s main color is red, so I pulled this dress solely for the color. Meh. I didn’t like it too much. It was a littttttttle too short for an occasion like this!
So I ended up buying #2 and #3! Although I’m tempted to go back and get #1. It’s just adorable. PS I apologize for the crude, totes natural pics my friends. Post shower don’t currrrrr. Oh and I got a pair of white skinny jeans too because I need to show people that my legs aren’t the whitest things on earth
My mom and I also ended up picking up my graduation party invites, and makeup! My gosh mascara is so expensive. My wallet hurt.
So yeah that was my Friday!
Today will probably be pretty low key. I work from 11-3ish, so I’m hoping I’ll fit in a workout afterwards! My gym closes at 6 so I should be fine… I hope
Do you like dress shopping?
Which dress(es) are your favorite? Should I go back and get #1?!
Beans: yay or nay?
